Meet Catherine Tomlinson
As a professional animal behaviourist I provide my expertise to a number of Veterinary Centres in the Bridgwater, Taunton, Highbridge and surrounding areas. I am a fully credited member of the Association for Pet Behaviour Counsellors with experience in both cat and dog behaviour problems.
From the youngest puppy to oldest family friend there are often times when a little bit of help goes a long way. Be it learning their first steps in the big wide world or overcoming a behavioural concern I offer a range of services to help you and your companion.
Our companion training and behaviour consultation services
Puppy School
Our hugely popular 6 week Puppy School course is specifically for puppies under 20 weeks of age. The course comes with a comprehensive training manual so that you can do work at home and at the end of the 6 weeks you will receive a certifcate and beautiful rosette.
It’s a safe and fun environment for you and your puppy to learn and socialise. At Puppy School only kind and positive methods are used to help you train your puppy.
Virtual behaviour consultations
As an alternative to face to face meetings, we can also provide support through a Virtual Consultation. All that is required is a computer with a webcam and an internet connection.
Virtual consultations are ideal for your pet if they cannot be transported due or if they are worried about being in an unfamiliar setting around unfamiliar people.
Meet some of our wonderful trainers
I run the Puppy Pow Wow Sessions and instruct Puppy School classes in Bridgwater. Outside of training classes I take my own dog to the agility sessions which we have found a lot of fun to learn something new and challenging!
I hold a special interest with behaviour in the canine world, focussing my dissertation on dog behaviour in relation to owner and dog relationships. I love learning so much about everything to do with dogs, from various breeds, socialisation and especially training with my own dogs.'
